In the production process of rubber products, due to the adhesion of self-adhesive rubber materials in the mixed rubber during the processing, it is difficult to process and transport. Therefore, before the mixed rubber is finally made into a finished product, such as extrusion, pressing, and hot mixing, a layer of isolation agent is applied to the corresponding film to prevent mutual adhesion. Rubber isolation agents are mainly used by tire manufacturing enterprises to isolate rubber films during the rubber refining process, and can also accelerate the cooling of the films. They can also be used to prevent adhesion between rubber materials or resins and molds. Rubber film isolation agents generally consist of a mixture of fatty acid salt inorganic mineral fillers, layered silicate montmorillonite suspension agents, surfactants, etc., which are dispersed in water. The 3-4% dispersion is a stable suspension. When the mixed film is impregnated (or sprayed) with a suspension, a layer of elastic film is formed on the surface of the film to prevent mutual adhesion and dust deposition between the films, thus avoiding the trouble in subsequent processing. Bentonite suspension agent has excellent thickening and suspension properties, making it a good suspension agent in film isolation agents. At the same time, its nanosheet structure is also an important solid isolation component of the isolation agent.
