When encountering water, the volume increases several times to 30 times, and the specific surface area increases to 700-800 m2/g. The micro crystal surface of montmorillonite, the main mineral component, is negatively charged and the edge surface is positively charged. It can be used in combination with cationic polymers to achieve retention and drainage effects. In addition, it can also adsorb resins and control adhesives. The main functions include:

Improve the retention rate of small fibers and other fillers in pulp, save raw material costs, and effectively reduce pulp consumption.

(2) Improve the water filtration performance of the net case section, vacuum section, and pressing section, purify the white water system, reduce sediment generation, inhibit bacteria and mold, avoid the formation of rotten pulp, and reduce paper breakage in the wet section.

⑶ Improve the dispersion and uniformity of paper pigments, surface smoothness of paper, uniformity of paper pages, strength and physical properties of paper pages.

2、 Usage method

(1) When using, cationic polymers are added at the inlet or outlet of the slurry pump to cause flocculation of paper fillers and other components. These large flocs are dispersed by high shear force when passing through the slurry pump and pressure screen.

(2) Bentonite particles are added at the outlet of the pressure screen of the paper machine, which reconnects dispersed small flocs through charge attraction, forming a uniform network type of small flocs in the pulp. Due to the small and dense network type flocs formed, it not only improves the retention and drainage performance of the paper material, but also greatly improves the uniformity of the paper page.

⑶ Before use, the cationic polymer and bentonite need to be dissolved and prepared respectively, and then the prepared solution is added to each layer of pulp through the rotor flowmeter control by the variable frequency screw pump.

3、 Precautions

This product should be stored in a dry and cool place, protected from rain and moisture to avoid clumping, and protected from exposure to sunlight to avoid packaging damage.
